Nude ithyphallic satyr, bald and with long beard and long hair, moving right in 'running-kneeling' position, holding a nymph in his arms, who raises her right hand in protest. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Dewing 1323. HGC 6, 331. Le Rider, Thasiennes, 5. SNG Ashmolean 3660-2. SNG Copenhagen 1010-2. Svoronos, HPM, pl. X, 16-7. Lightly toned and of vigorous style. Light marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
